Job Summary

The City of Aachen is seeking an Infrastructure Management Specialist to join the Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for the reactive and proactive management of critical IT and communication infrastructure. Your daily duties include maintaining IP data networks, troubleshooting network hardware, and managing telecommunications systems such as emergency call lines and mobile devices. You will also oversee the design, installation, and monitoring of radio and satellite communication links to ensure operational stability, particularly during large-scale emergencies and disaster response operations. Required Skills
