Job Summary

The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) is seeking a Coordinator for Research Collaborations and Contract Management to join its Innovation Management team. In this role, you will act as a vital interface between research departments, administration, and external partners, including pharmaceutical companies. Your daily responsibilities will involve managing interdisciplinary projects, drafting and negotiating research and clinical study contracts, and maintaining digital collaboration tools. You will support international alliances, assist in protecting intellectual property, and optimize administrative processes to facilitate seamless research operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in science, law, or business, combined with experience in contract management within a clinical or medical-translational environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Natural Sciences, Biomedicine, Economics, Law, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in contract management for scientific projects
  • Experience in a clinical or medical-translational environment is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, ideally supported by professional certification
