Job Summary

The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) is seeking an Innovation Manager to bridge the gap between world-class cancer research and commercial application. In this role, you will evaluate the market potential of research findings, including therapeutics, medical devices, and software. Your daily responsibilities involve technology scouting, managing intellectual property, negotiating licensing and strategic cooperation agreements, and supporting scientists with grant applications. You will operate at the intersection of science and business, ensuring research is translated into real-world solutions while maintaining legal compliance for intellectual property. The position requires a strong scientific background, specifically a PhD in Biology or Medicine, combined with commercial acumen and project management expertise.
