Job Summary

This role involves working within the Department for Residues, Irradiation Detection, and Contaminants at the Thuringian State Office for Consumer Protection. The successful candidate will perform complex analytical tasks, including sample preparation using extraction and chromatographic techniques like solid-phase extraction and gel chromatography. Daily responsibilities include executing routine analysis using ICP-OES, as well as operating sophisticated instrumentation such as HPLC with fluorescence/diode-array detection and LC-MS/MS. Furthermore, the role requires method development, optimization, quality assurance, and comprehensive documentation of results. This position offers a stable environment within the public sector (TV-L), providing a unique opportunity to contribute to public health and safety through rigorous scientific analysis. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Chemistry, Life Science Engineering, or Environmental Analytics.
