Job Summary

The District of Lüchow-Dannenberg is seeking an Information Security and Digital Accessibility Officer to join their Digitalization Staff Unit. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring organizational information security by conducting risk assessments, managing software and hardware approvals, and ensuring compliance with NIS 2 directives. A key component of this position involves driving digital accessibility by auditing websites and apps to meet BITV 2.0 standards and drafting accessibility declarations. Furthermore, you will lead the implementation of AI systems and provide training on AI competencies. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in IT or public administration who is eager to contribute to public sector digital transformation. You will work in a structured environment, collaborating with internal teams to maintain security standards while fostering innovation. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in (Administrative) Informatics, IT-focused degree, Cyber Security, or a completed 'Angestelltenlehrgang II' (Public Administration Certification).

Experience

  • Professional experience in information security, IT, or public administration
  • Experience in evaluating and implementing digital compliance standards
  • Experience in conducting training or educational sessions for staff
