As an IT Systems Engineer for the Lüchow-Dannenberg district administration, you will join a dedicated team of five specialists focused on digitizing local government services. Your daily responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and monitoring of IT systems, as well as performing detailed error analysis and troubleshooting across server, PC, and network environments. You will also provide critical 2nd-level support and maintain specialized procedural software. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or an equivalent certification-based qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in installation and maintenance of IT systems
  • Proven experience in 2nd-level technical support
  • Experience in server and network troubleshooting
  • Experience working with Microsoft server environments and virtualization technologies

Additional

  • Willingness to participate in the district's disaster control staff is required. Must be able to work on-site in Lüchow-Dannenberg, though mobile work is possible by arrangement. Full-time position (39 hours/week) under the TVöD (VKA) public service collective agreement.
