Job Summary

As the Head of Technical Operations (Federal Construction) at the Sächsisches Immobilien- und Baumanagement (SIB), you will lead a team responsible for the technical building equipment of military and civilian properties. Your day-to-day role involves planning and steering complex construction projects, acting as the client representative, and managing external contractors and engineering firms. You will provide both technical and disciplinary leadership to your staff, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role requires a strong background in electrical, mechanical, or energy engineering, combined with proven leadership skills. You will navigate complex legal frameworks like HOAI and VOB while coordinating with various stakeholders. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Diploma or Master) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Energy/Building/Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy Systems, or Mechanical Engineering. Eligibility for the higher technical administrative service (Laufbahnbefähigung) is considered an advantage.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and managing construction projects
