Job Summary

As a Physics Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting project execution and quality assurance for a global leader in energy technology based in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Your daily responsibilities include conducting physical analyses, measurements, and experiments, as well as setting up and maintaining laboratory equipment and test rigs. You will be responsible for documenting results, evaluating data, and preparing technical reports to support the development and validation of new materials and processes, specifically focusing on insulation systems, rheology, and thermal analysis. This role requires a strong technical aptitude and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with internal departments and external partners. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Physics Laboratory Technician or Laboratory Technician, or a state-certified Technician degree (Physics/Materials Technology), or a university degree in Physics or Applied Physics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a laboratory or measurement environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of material and process physics.
