As a Materials Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the material strategy for a global leader in transport technology. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conceptualizing and implementing innovative material strategies for both new equipment and service applications. You will conduct detailed damage analyses to identify root causes, optimize manufacturing processes, and collaborate closely with design teams to select the best materials for electromagnetic and structural components. You will also be responsible for standardizing material specifications in accordance with international industrial standards.
