Job Summary

The University of Augsburg is seeking a dedicated Facility Caretaker to join its Building and Technology department. In this full-time, permanent role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the university's infrastructure, ensuring that campus buildings remain functional, safe, and sustainable. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing general repairs and maintenance, monitoring technical building systems, managing event space setups, conducting security rounds, and assisting with groundskeeping, including winter services. You will also handle transport tasks and general facility management duties. This position requires a shift-based schedule, including early, late, and rotating Saturday shifts. The ideal candidate is a skilled craftsperson who is physically capable, service-oriented, and reliable.
