This role is based at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Augsburg, specifically within the Chair of Model-based Environmental Exposure Science. As an IT Technician, you will play a vital role in researching the links between environment and health by supporting the development of computer models. Your daily responsibilities include building and maintaining data and computing infrastructure, developing geodatabases with online connections to external sources, and assisting scientific staff with programming and high-performance computing tasks. You will also provide helpdesk support for external users of the chair's modeling systems and contribute to the technical maintenance of portable measurement platforms.
