Job Summary

As an AI Solutions Architect for the project group 'Central Unit for the Detection of Foreign Information Manipulation' (PG ZEAM), you will play a pivotal role in protecting democracy from illegitimate foreign influence. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve researching high-performance open-source Large Language Models (LLMs), testing their suitability for internal operations, and deploying them within the unit's infrastructure. You will act as a technical bridge, integrating AI inferences with existing data sources, automating analyst workflows, and continuously monitoring emerging trends in artificial intelligence. This position is ideal for a tech-savvy professional who thrives on conceptualizing and implementing AI-driven applications in a high-stakes, public sector environment. You will work closely with an analyst team to refine tools and improve the detection of manipulation narratives. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or University Diploma in Computer Science, Informatics, or Engineering with an IT focus.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a specialist or advisory role (Referent)
  • Substantial professional experience in software programming
  • Proven experience in prompting AI models (Prompt Engineering)
  • Experience in the development and application of machine learning algorithms and data platforms
  • Practical experience with AI-supported data analysis
  • Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools

Additional

  • Must be willing to undergo an extended security clearance (Ü2-Sabotageschutz) according to the Security Clearance Act (SÜG). Position is limited until May 31, 2027. Work location is Berlin.
