Job Summary

The Federal Office for Logistics and Mobility (BALM) is seeking a dedicated Strategic Information Security Officer to join their leadership staff in Cologne. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining information security policies, standards, and concepts in accordance with BSI standards and the IT Security Act. Your day-to-day duties will include conducting risk analyses, overseeing security audits, managing incident reporting, and advising various departments on security matters. You will also act as a deputy for the Information Security Officer, ensuring the agency maintains a resilient and crisis-proof infrastructure. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent, or completed training as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt).

Experience

  • Professional experience in information security or IT governance
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing BSI standards and IT-Grundschutz
  • Experience with the Central Service for Information Security (ZeDIS) or similar systems
