Job Summary

The Federal Railway Authority (EBA) is seeking a qualified engineer to join its Berlin branch as a technical supervisor for signaling and safety systems. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the construction and maintenance of railway signaling equipment, including interlocking systems, level crossing safety, and train control systems. Your day-to-day work involves reviewing technical execution plans, inspecting new builds and modifications, ensuring operational safety, and investigating technical irregularities. You will also coordinate annual monitoring programs and handle specific technical inquiries. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent; or qualification for the higher technical administrative service in the federal administration.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of railway signaling technology is highly desirable.
  • Experience in monitoring the construction and implementation of signaling systems is highly desirable.
