Job Summary

As an Operations Engineer for Network Monitoring, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high availability and reliable performance of mission-critical grid monitoring and control systems. You will manage the end-to-end ITIL service lifecycle, including incident, problem, change, and release management. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve maintaining operational stability, executing system updates and patches, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing security measures. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, network, and security teams across the Elia Group to support the energy transition. This position is ideal for an experienced professional looking to work in a high-stakes, critical infrastructure environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree or vocational training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT-related field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in operating critical applications in a role such as Operations Engineer or IT Application Manager.
  • Experience in managing ITIL-based service processes.
  • Experience with operating systems, virtualization, and middleware components.
  • Experience in network infrastructure and IT provider management.
