Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the reliable and high-availability operation of the European tender platform 'regelleistung.net'. As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and maintenance of the platform, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Your daily tasks include system administration across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, managing deployments, updates, and patches, and performing root-cause analysis for system incidents. You will collaborate closely with IT infrastructure, network, and security teams within the Elia Group. A key aspect of the role is participating in remote IT on-call rotations to maintain continuous operations. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree or vocational training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT-related field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the planning, operation, and further development of applications.
  • Experience in the service operation (DevOps) of complex web platforms, including application servers, databases, middleware, and message queuing.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, monitoring, and logging systems.
  • Experience with various operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience in IT provider management, IT monitoring, and IT operations management.
