Job Summary

The Institut für Nanophotonik Göttingen is seeking a motivated Physicist to join the Department of Optical Nanoscopy as a PhD candidate. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and realization of a STED microscope specifically tailored for materials science applications. Your day-to-day work will involve developing acquisition protocols for superresolution imaging of polymer-based structures, as well as refining data reconstruction and analysis methods. You will collaborate closely with project partners in physical chemistry and represent your research findings through international presentations and publications.
