Job Summary

As an Offshore Electrical Service and Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational integrity of offshore wind energy installations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine service and maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults, and executing the installation or removal of complex components such as blade carriers, nacelle carriers, and crane systems. You will work within a specialized service team, ensuring all activities adhere to strict quality and safety standards while maintaining detailed documentation of your work. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work in challenging offshore environments. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or a related technical field
  • Experience in service and maintenance of industrial or energy-related equipment
  • Experience working within a team-based technical environment
  • Experience with offshore operations or heavy lifting equipment is highly valued

Languages

English (Intermediate)

Additional

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including early and night shifts; GWO (Global Wind Organisation) offshore training certifications are a significant advantage; Must be physically and technically prepared for offshore work environments.
