Job Summary

As an Environmental Engineer specializing in waste and soil management, you will play a critical role in maintaining Germany's motorway infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing internal waste processes, providing expert consultation on waste legislation, and overseeing the environmental aspects of construction material usage. You will be responsible for securing necessary environmental and water permits, as well as coordinating and supervising engineering and construction service contracts, including technical inspections and billing. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in waste management, contaminated site remediation, and geotechnical engineering, coupled with a deep understanding of environmental and nature conservation laws. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree (Bachelor or Diploma/FH) in Environmental Engineering, Waste Management, Applied Geosciences, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the field of contaminated sites, waste management, and geotechnics
  • Proven experience as a Waste Management Officer
  • Extensive professional experience in road construction
  • Experience in managing and coordinating engineering and construction service contracts
