Job Summary

As a Data Center Operations Manager, you will lead a global team of 10 professionals, overseeing 24/7 operational support for 8 data centers worldwide. Based at the Darmstadt campus, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across in-house and colocation facilities. Your day-to-day will involve managing team performance, coaching direct reports, and fostering a culture of psychological safety where risks are addressed proactively. You will act as the primary lead for incident response and escalations, ensuring that infrastructure changes are handled smoothly and service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met. This role is unique because it combines high-level strategic oversight of global infrastructure with hands-on leadership and the responsibility to cultivate a transparent, high-performing team environment. You will bridge the gap between technical operations and stakeholder communication, ensuring that all procedures and compliance requirements are strictly followed.
