As a research assistant, you will design and conduct experiments in homogeneous catalysis, specifically utilizing Pd and Ni precatalysts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve synthesizing and characterizing transition metal complexes, investigating reaction mechanisms through advanced spectroscopic techniques, and optimizing catalytic conditions. Beyond experimental work, you will document findings, contribute to scientific manuscripts, and participate in interdisciplinary collaborations. A key component of this role is the supervision of bachelor-level organic chemistry practical courses, totaling 600 hours over the three-year contract.
