Job Summary

As a Hardware Engineer at Schmitt Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end development of digital and analog components, with a specific focus on control systems and data communication. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing, building, testing, and documenting electronic components, as well as creating detailed circuit designs using Mentor Graphics. You will be responsible for evaluating concepts through simulations and prototyping, ensuring components are ready for series production, and supporting system integration directly at client sites. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical engineering, specifically regarding PCIe video capture and distribution switches. Ideal candidates will have experience in medical electronics and a deep understanding of EMC-compliant design and safety standards.
