Job Summary
Join Schmitt Engineering as a Quality Assurance Engineer to support project and application management in developing and implementing software quality measures. You will conduct QA reviews, ensure proper documentation and testing of software defects, and review IT software change documentation, particularly for SAP systems. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with practical experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software quality assurance, and test automation. Strong project management skills and proficiency in German (B2+) and English are essential for this international environment.

Degree in Computer Science or a comparable education with relevant professional experience
Experience
- Professional experience in software quality assurance, IT project support, or change management
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methods of software quality assurance and software test automation
- Profound knowledge in project management areas including scope, scheduling, budget, risk, resources, quality, communication, supplier, stakeholder, and team management
Languages
Additional
- Must have German language skills (B2+ level) as German is the working language.
