Job Summary

Join Schmitt Engineering as a Business Engineer focused on System and User Management. In this role, you will support the Product Owner by clarifying and coordinating business requirements with stakeholders, conducting needs assessments through interviews, and moderating workshops. You will be responsible for documenting functional and non-functional requirements, creating system documentation and user manuals, and developing artifacts like Epics, Features, and User Stories for agile development. Your tasks will also include describing and coordinating acceptance tests, advising on risk management, and analyzing existing implementations to define interface specifications. The ideal candidate has an IT degree, experience in agile software projects with SAFe, data analysis skills, and knowledge of processes within the railway or infrastructure sectors. Strong moderation and presentation skills are essential, along with proficiency in backlog management tools and process modeling.
