Job Summary
As an Operations Engineer, you will lead the Technical Operations Group in Pöcking, responsible for the functionality and maintenance management of all technical building systems. Your day-to-day duties involve overseeing facility operations, ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations, managing maintenance schedules, and validating the readiness of technical installations. You will also collaborate on construction documentation and project planning. This role is unique as it offers a stable, long-term career within the German Federal Armed Forces, with options for civil servant status (A12) or public service employment (E11). Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field. Qualification for the higher technical administrative service (gehobener technischer Verwaltungsdienst) is required for civil servant status.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, energy systems, building services, or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in applying regulations for electrical, climate, fire protection, and occupational safety systems.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in management or leadership of a technical operations group.
- Professional experience in controlling, business administration, and cost accounting.

- Valid driver's license (Class B) required. Must be willing to obtain a military driver's license. Mandatory participation in an extended security clearance process (SÜG Bund). Willingness to travel for business and participate in regular training. Commitment to the democratic constitutional order of the Basic Law.
