Job Summary

As an Operations Engineer at the Bundeswehr Service Center in Bogen, you will be responsible for the energy management and technical facility operations of military properties. Your day-to-day work involves performing energy and consumption analyses, managing the Central Monitoring and Control System (ZÜB) database, and advising management on energy-saving measures. You will oversee the inspection, repair, and expert testing of central technical and structural systems, coordinating with external service providers and drafting framework contracts. Additionally, you will support infrastructure planning from an energetic perspective and prepare electrical engineering specifications. This role is unique for its high level of responsibility, including acting as deputy head of Technical Facility Management (TGM). Required Skills

Education

University degree (Dipl.-Ing. or Bachelor of Engineering) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related technical field; eligibility for the higher technical administrative service (gehobener technischer Verwaltungsdienst).

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical or energy engineering within a technical administrative or industrial context
  • Experience in the management and maintenance of technical building systems and electrical installations
  • Experience in coordinating external service providers and supervising technical staff
  • Experience in data evaluation and statistical reporting for energy consumption
  • Experience in preparing technical specifications and service descriptions
