Job Summary

This role is focused on the strategic evaluation and provision of knowledge management standards within the Cyber and Information Domain Training Center. You will be responsible for structuring, maintaining, and updating critical knowledge content such as process descriptions, guidelines, and teaching materials across various platforms. A significant portion of your daily activities involves advising specialized departments on the systematic storage and utilization of information, as well as developing proposals for the further evolution of knowledge management instruments. The position is unique as it offers a path to German civil service status (Verbeamtung) and provides a significant recruitment bonus of up to 25,000 Euro. It is an ideal role for an IT professional who enjoys a mix of technical system maintenance, internal consulting, and organizational development within a public service context, offering flexibility through home office options and health programs.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, or Diploma FH) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of Information Technology
  • Experience in managing IT projects
  • Experience in knowledge management, including the development and maintenance of knowledge databases and documentation systems
  • Experience collaborating with diverse departments and managing organizational change processes

Additional

  • Must be willing to undergo an extended security clearance (Ü2 VS). Must support the free democratic basic order. Willingness to undertake regular domestic business trips and further training. Must be under 50 years old for civil service appointment (otherwise regular employment contract applies).
