Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft e.V. Zentrale München
Job Summary
This Postdoctoral Researcher position focuses on developing advanced organoid models for inflammatory bowel diseases, a collaborative effort between Fraunhofer, Goethe University, and Sanofi in Frankfurt am Main. The role involves innovating complex co-culture systems of patient-derived organoids and autologous immune cells to mimic human intestinal inflammation, establishing a novel platform for preclinical drug evaluation. You will also analyze disease progression and predictive potential through spatial transcriptomic and single-cell analysis of organoid models and patient samples. This is an excellent opportunity for a scientist with a strong background in stem cell-derived organoid culture, molecular biology, and immunology, seeking to contribute to applied science and drug discovery in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary, and international research environment.
