Job Summary

This role involves leading the Human Resources, Public Relations, and Works Council team within the municipal facility management and logistics department in Salzgitter. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing administrative guidelines, managing personnel budgets in coordination with commercial leadership, and handling labor relations in collaboration with the local staff council. Additionally, you will oversee public relations, manage complaints and inquiries, and implement new organizational control instruments. The position requires a strong background in public administration or HR management, along with expertise in labor law. You will work closely with the operating management to ensure efficient personnel and organizational processes. Required Skills

Education

Successful completion of the Administrative Course II (Verwaltungslehrgang II) or a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Administrative Business Administration, or a degree in Law, Personnel Management, and Psychology. Alternatively, career qualification for the first entry level of the second career group, general services (Beamtenverhältnis).

Experience

  • Professional experience in human resources and organizational management
  • Experience in applying labor law and working with staff councils
  • Proven track record in administrative leadership or management roles

  • Must be willing to obtain the municipal leadership certificate (Führungskräftetestat) within 8 years. Must possess gender mainstreaming competency. Position is subject to public service regulations (TVöD/VKA or NBesO). Valid work permit for Germany required.
