As an Expert for Electrical Engineering and Explosion-Hazardous Installations at TÜV Thüringen, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and quality of industrial systems. Your daily responsibilities include conducting inspections and assessments of electrical equipment and installations across their entire lifecycle, ensuring compliance with national and international regulatory standards. You will document your findings in detailed inspection reports and provide cross-departmental technical expertise for complex safety inquiries. A key part of the role involves maintaining long-term, professional relationships with existing clients, serving as their trusted advisor. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; VdS certification as an expert; Certification as an inspector for explosion-hazardous areas.

Experience

  • Proven expertise in the inspection of explosion-hazardous installations
  • Demonstrated experience in applying national and international safety regulations
  • Experience in client-facing roles and technical consulting
