Job Summary

As an IT Service Coordinator at Caritasverband für die Diözese Hildesheim e. V., you will serve as the primary point of contact for employee IT requests. Your daily responsibilities include receiving, categorizing, and prioritizing IT incidents and service requests, coordinating with external service providers, and ensuring SLAs are met. You will also handle basic local hardware troubleshooting, assist with IT onboarding and offboarding processes, and maintain the internal self-service portal and knowledge base. The role requires a structured, service-oriented approach and the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical staff. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in an IT field (e.g., IT Specialist/Fachinformatiker) or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT support, helpdesk, or user support is desirable.
  • Experience in ticket system management is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with ITIL incident and service request processes is considered an advantage.
