Job Summary

The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) is seeking an AI Application Developer to join their Core Facility Information Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining AI-driven applications, with a primary focus on chatbot web interfaces, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) implementation, and seamless system integration. You will design data pipelines to connect internal data sources to LLMs, ensure data security and compliance, and create reference architectures for internal projects. The position requires a combination of software development expertise, data engineering skills, and a strong understanding of AI frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing business applications.
