University degree (Bachelor's level minimum) in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Technology, Environmental Protection, Water Technology, Hydrology, or a comparable field. Alternatively, qualification for entry into the third qualification level of the Natural Science and Technology career path, with a focus on construction and environmental administrative services, specializing in water management.

• Professional experience in environmental and climate protection, energy and environmental management, water management, or monitoring (advantageous)
• Knowledge of requirements for facilities handling water-hazardous substances, including biogas plants (advantageous)
• Knowledge in rainwater treatment (advantageous)
• General knowledge of federal and state water laws (advantageous)
• Knowledge of municipal technical environmental and climate protection action areas (advantageous)
• Basic knowledge of administrative authority tasks, structures, and working methods (advantageous)

• Class B driving license required. Willingness to perform duties outside regular working hours occasionally (e.g., noise measurements at night). Willingness to undergo necessary further training. Applicants whose studies are nearing completion are also welcome to apply.
