Job Summary

The GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research in Darmstadt is seeking an International Relations Officer to join its International Cooperations and Programme Management team. This role is crucial for identifying, analyzing, and harmonizing international cooperation programs with existing administrative processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed process documentation, visualizing workflows using tools like MS Visio, and developing key information documents (KIDs) to ensure efficient communication. They will also support daily operations, contribute to digitalization projects, and provide training to campus personnel. This position offers a dynamic and challenging opportunity within a leading international research environment, contributing to world-class science at GSI and the FAIR facility.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor / University of Applied Sciences Diploma) in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a comparable field (e.g., Business Informatics)

Experience

  • Experience in applying for and implementing national and international public funding projects
  • Knowledge of program distribution for students and researchers (advantageous)
