Job Summary

Join the State Office for Agriculture and Environment in West Mecklenburg to play a pivotal role in the energy transition. In this position, you will be responsible for the legal and efficient processing of permit applications for wind energy facilities under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG). Your daily tasks will include conducting approval procedures, monitoring compliance, drafting administrative orders, and managing legal disputes, complaints, and information requests. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in environmental science, engineering, or public administration who are passionate about climate protection and sustainable energy expansion. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental Technology, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Environmental Protection, or Public Administration (or equivalent administrative qualification such as Verwaltungswirt or Angestelltenlehrgang A II).

Experience

  • Professional experience in administrative enforcement, preferably in the field of immission control or waste management law
  • Experience in managing regulatory approval procedures
  • Proficiency in handling legal inquiries, complaints, and administrative procedures
