Job Summary

As an Environmental Technician for Waste Disposal Facilities at the State Office for Agriculture and Environment West Mecklenburg, you will play a critical role in enforcing federal emission control and circular economy regulations. Your daily responsibilities include managing the approval process for waste disposal facilities, conducting site inspections, and performing incident investigations. You will also draft regulatory orders, handle administrative appeals, and address environmental inquiries. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Environmental Protection, Land Culture and Environmental Protection, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the application of the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), evidenced by employment references.
  • Experience in environmental engineering or related technical fields.
