Job Summary

This role involves advancing the energy transition within the Ministry for Climate Protection, Agriculture, Rural Areas, and Environment in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. As an Administrative Officer, you will handle technical and fundamental matters regarding renewable energy projects, including wind turbines, hydrogen production facilities, and battery storage systems. Your day-to-day work includes implementing the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), drafting technical requirements based on EU and national regulations (such as RED III and EEG), and providing technical supervision to regional environmental offices. You will also collaborate across departments and participate in federal-state consultations. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or a comparable field; or qualification for the second entry level of the higher technical service.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the enforcement of immission control law is preferred
  • Experience in handling technical matters related to wind energy, hydrogen, or battery storage systems
  • Proven experience in interpreting complex environmental and planning legal frameworks
  • Experience in inter-departmental cooperation and administrative supervision
  • Practical experience in drafting legal regulations or administrative decrees
