Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the administration and development of specialized IT systems related to the Common European Asylum System (CEAS). You will be responsible for monitoring IT developments, defining procedural standards for biometric data collection, vulnerability screening, and identity verification. A core part of your day-to-day work includes translating complex European and national legal requirements into concrete IT specifications and managing the associated requirements. You will act as a bridge between technical teams and organizational stakeholders, ensuring compliance with data protection, information security, and interoperability standards. Additionally, you will represent the organization in national and European committees. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Public Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Administration with a focus on IT. Alternatively, completion of the Qualification Course II (Qualifizierungslehrgang II) for public service.
