Job Summary

This role is a parental leave replacement position at the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI in Rostock, specifically within the Extracorporeal Therapy Systems team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing new diagnostic and treatment methods for organ replacement systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and conducting cell biological, biochemical, and molecular biological experiments, as well as supporting medical-technical laboratory tests for blood purification processes. You will be responsible for documenting results according to Good Scientific Practice, performing initial data analysis, and managing laboratory organization such as material procurement. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Experience working specifically with cell cultures is highly desired
  • Experience in documenting scientific experiments and performing data evaluation
  • Experience or willingness to mentor interns and students in a laboratory setting
