Job Summary

This full-time position within Prof. Dr. Kesselring's research group at the II. Medical Clinic involves supporting cutting-edge research in tumor immunology and colorectal cancer. The successful candidate will be responsible for isolating tumor and immune cells from both mouse and human organs, cultivating tumor organoids, and conducting flow cytometry and cell-based assays. Day-to-day tasks include immunohistological, molecular biological, and protein biochemical examinations of tissue samples, alongside assisting with animal experimental work. Beyond laboratory execution, the role requires active laboratory management and the independent planning and documentation of experiments in close coordination with scientific staff. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in laboratory research environments
  • Experience in immunology, oncology, or microbiology research areas
  • Practical experience with modern genetic engineering and system biology methods
  • Proven track record of independent experimental planning and execution
  • Experience in laboratory organization and resource management

Additional
