This role involves performing the duties of a Medical Physics Expert within the Medical Physics and Radiation Protection unit, specifically focusing on radiation therapy. On a day-to-day basis, the successful candidate will handle dosimetry, physical-technical quality assurance, and physical treatment planning. You will also serve as a Radiation Protection Officer, ensuring all safety protocols and radiation protection laws are strictly implemented. The position is ideal for candidates who enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and independent work within a clinical setting. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in Medical Physics, Physics, Medical Engineering, or a comparable scientific-technical field. Candidates without a specific Medical Physics degree must be willing to complete an accredited distance-learning Master's or certificate program.

  • Professional experience as a Medical Physics Expert in accordance with radiation protection laws
  • Experience in performing dosimetry and physical-technical quality assurance
  • Experience in physical radiation treatment planning
  • Experience or willingness to serve as a Radiation Protection Officer

  • Specialist expertise in radiation protection for Medical Physics Experts (Teletherapy and Brachytherapy) is preferred. Candidates must provide proof of sufficient measles vaccination or immunity before starting. The position is initially limited to two years.
