Job Summary
As an IT Application System Administrator for the District Office of Lichtenberg in Berlin, you will be the primary point of contact for technical support and application management within the Office for Regionalized Regulatory Tasks. Your daily responsibilities include providing first-level user helpdesk support for specialized software such as SC-OWi and SC-OWi Mobil, as well as standard office applications and electronic file systems (E-Akte). You will manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from inventorying hardware like tablets and scanners to preparing procurement requests and managing software licenses. A unique aspect of this role is acting as a multiplier and consultant for AI applications within the department. This permanent position offers a secure public service salary (E9a), flexible working hours, mobile work options, and a dedicated health management program that allows for four hours of sports or wellness activities during monthly working time.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or Technician specializing in Informatics.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT application support and system administration
- Experience in managing workstations and peripheral devices such as scanners, printers, and mobile devices
- Experience in user support and training for standard and specialized software
- Experience in inventory management and asset tracking
