This role involves overseeing and coordinating data protection and digitalization initiatives within the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) in Eberswalde. The successful candidate will manage data protection incidents, prepare for audits, and develop internal guidelines for handling personal data. A significant portion of the role focuses on digitalization, where you will advise leadership on software solutions and participate in digitalization working groups. You will act as a central point of contact for data protection control authorities and help map business processes and data flows. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Economics, Administrative Sciences, Public Administration, Information and Data Management, or Administrative Informatics.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of data protection or data protection management
  • Professional experience in designing business processes and data flow diagrams
  • Professional experience in gathering functional requirements for digitalization projects
  • Experience in developing administrative guidelines and conceptual frameworks
