Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive administration, planning, and execution of third-party funded projects within the Brandenburg State Police Headquarters in Potsdam. The successful candidate will focus on security research initiatives (both national and EU-funded) and internal security education programs. Key responsibilities include advising the Head of Staff on funding opportunities, organizing funding summits, and coordinating grant applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the formal completeness and content consistency of applications, as well as managing reporting obligations during the implementation phase. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in Economics, Business Administration, Public Management, Public Finance, or a comparable economic degree; OR qualification for the higher intermediate administrative service; OR advanced training as a Certified Administrative Manager (Verwaltungsfachwirt).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the administration of third-party funds is desirable but not mandatory
  • Experience in coordinating grant applications and managing reporting cycles
  • Proven track record in administrative processes within a public or governmental context
  • Experience in collaborating with ministerial or academic institutions is beneficial

  • Must provide a certificate of good conduct (Führungszeugnis) from the Federal Central Register. Class B driver's license is desirable. The position is based in Potsdam, Germany.
