Job Summary

This is a one-year parental leave replacement role within the North Police Directorate of the Brandenburg State Police in Neuruppin. As a Data Protection Management Officer, you will serve as a key advisor to the Head of the Directorate Staff on all matters regarding data privacy and legal compliance. Your daily responsibilities will include steering and monitoring data-relevant processes, creating and updating procedural directories for personal data processing, and participating in specialized projects and working groups. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and delivering data protection training sessions and supporting staff during special operational situations (BAO). Required Skills

Education

Bachelor of Science in Economics or Administrative Sciences, (Diploma) Administrative Specialist, Bachelor in Information and Data Management, or Bachelor of Arts in Police Service.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the field of data protection or data protection management
  • Experience in managing and monitoring data-relevant workflows and administrative orders
  • Professional experience in providing legal or technical advice to senior leadership
  • Experience in designing business processes and data flow diagrams is preferred
  • Previous experience within police procedures or authority staff work is an advantage
