Job Summary

The Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) is seeking an IT Systems Manager to lead the 'Technical Systems' working group for the Institutes of Mathematics and Computer Science. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for both the technical and personnel management of the department. Your daily activities will include the administration of server and desktop infrastructures, hardware and software procurement, and supporting scientific research projects through programming and IT planning. You will also serve as the safety officer at the institute level, ensuring data security and integrity.
