Job Summary

As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist at DP World, you will be the primary driver for promoting employee health, safety, and work capacity. Your daily responsibilities will involve managing the complete lifecycle of return-to-work (BEM) processes, analyzing sickness absence data to identify trends, and collaborating closely with operations managers to implement preventative health measures. You will act as a strategic consultant for leadership, advising them on how to handle health-related challenges within their teams while ensuring all activities comply with strict GDPR and labor law requirements. This role is unique for its blend of data-driven analysis and empathetic human interaction, allowing you to shape a sustainable working environment within a global logistics leader. You will bridge the gap between corporate health programs and local operational needs, ensuring that health and safety are integrated into the fabric of the company's daily operations.

Required Skills

Education

Completed commercial or social science vocational training; alternatively, a university degree in Health Management, HR, Psychology, or a related field. Additional qualifications in BEM or Occupational Psychology are preferred.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Human Resources, Health Management, Case Management, or a comparable field
  • Proven experience in conducting structured conversations such as return-to-work and conflict resolution meetings
  • Experience collaborating with operational departments and leadership, such as shift supervisors and operations managers
  • Demonstrated experience in health management and sickness absence control
