Job Summary

As an Occupational Health Specialist at DP World, you will play a pivotal role in promoting employee well-being, safety, and work capacity within a global logistics leader. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing the Company Integration Management (BEM) process, conducting return-to-work interviews, and analyzing sickness absence data to implement targeted health interventions. You will act as a strategic consultant for operations managers and leadership, guiding them on health-related challenges and absence management. This role is unique for its blend of data-driven analysis and empathetic interpersonal communication, requiring close collaboration with HR, HSE, and works councils. You will be instrumental in localizing global health initiatives and ensuring compliance with German labor and data protection laws. Required Skills

Education

Completed commercial or social science vocational training; alternatively, a university degree in Health Management, HR, Psychology, or a comparable field. Additional qualifications in BEM or Occupational Psychology are preferred.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Human Resources, Health Management, Case Management, or BEM
  • Proven experience in conducting structured employee interviews, including return-to-work and conflict resolution meetings
  • Experience collaborating with operational departments and shift supervisors
  • Demonstrated expertise in health management systems and absence control strategies
  • Experience working with KPIs and data-based reporting for health metrics

Languages

German (Basic)

  • Expertise in German labor law and GDPR is required. Must be able to work on-site to collaborate with operations and shift managers.
