Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the planning and project engineering of complex electrotechnical switchgear systems using CAE software. Your daily activities involve creating, adapting, and verifying electrical circuit diagrams, as well as generating comprehensive bills of materials (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation. You will play a critical role in component selection and dimensioning, ensuring all designs comply with CE-relevant certifications and company-specific guidelines. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Electrical Technician, Master Electrician, or a comparable qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in the electrical design of switchgear, control, MSR (measurement, control, and regulation), and automation systems
- Required experience in switchgear construction
- Practical knowledge of relevant technical standards and regulations
- Experience in creating manufacturing documentation and bills of materials
