Job Summary

As a Signaling Technician, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and operational safety of railway infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing functional checks and adjustments on signal circuits, point machines (switch actuators), and track vacancy detection systems. You will also be responsible for inspecting lighting technology on main and secondary signals, as well as parameterizing level crossing systems. This position is highly technical, requiring the maintenance and repair of complex control and safety technology components. The role is ideal for qualified electricians who enjoy hands-on technical work and want to contribute to the reliability of rail transport. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, Electrical Installer, Industrial Electrician, or a comparable qualification. Qualification as a Signaling Mechanic (Signalwerker) is desirable.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the electrotechnical field is preferred
  • Experience in adjusting and checking signal circuits and point machines
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of control and safety technology components
  • Experience with level crossing systems and signal lighting technology
